This Fender Japan is part of the Fender brand story. No offense to purists who only swear by the US made guitars, the E series is really part of the best Stratocaster guitars ever sold by Fender. We must not forget that they were intended for export, mainly for the USA. Fender chose the Fujigen factory, not surprisingly, as it was the factory that made the great Ibanez Stratocaster and the famous Greco SE series.
I wanted an Olympic White E Series, so I bought it at Mag Guitar (CMF music at CAEN city in France); it was fitted with non-original pickups, which bothered me. Some time later, I found on Ebay a complete original pickguard (fully original to this model), so it is now fully in its original configuration.
